Transition Joshua Tree will hold a spaghetti dinner and social event to educate people about the Transition movement and local environmental issues. Transition Joshua Tree is a grassroots organization concerned with global warming, economic stability, and community building. National Parks Conservation Association Program Manager Seth Shteir will speak on local environmental issues. The spaghetti dinner starts at 6 p.m. March 2, at the Joshua Tree Chamber of Commerce office on Hallee Road in Joshua Tree.
