If you like good food and good people, vegetables, and Indian foods, then reporter Mike Lipsitz says make time for the Joshua Tree Local Food Program this Sunday…

Transition Joshua Tree’s monthly vegetarian dinner is this Sunday, March 24, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the JT Community Methodist Church on East Parkway in Joshua Tree. This month, the Local Food Program celebrates the cuisine of India with an array of salads, entrees, and desserts. Fresh produce will be available to take home after the dinner. The dinner is free, although donations are needed. The goal of the program is to build community and educate people about cooking with fresh ingredients. Bring your own plate and utensils, as this is a no-waste event. Write [email protected] to donate, volunteer, or for more information.
