Transition Joshua Tree’s Local Food Program members invite you to a Harvest Festival Dinner and vegetable distribution this Sunday starting at 5 p.m. at the Joshua Tree Community United Methodist Church on East Parkway. The goal of this evening is to provide fresh food and vegetables to supplement existing food assistance programs and to educate people about growing, storing and cooking fresh food. This is a vegetarian meal highlighting fall produce. Bring your own dishes, utensils, and a bag to take home some fresh produce if you need. There is no charge, but donations are welcome.
