TRANSIENT ACCUSED OF ROBBERY IN YUCCA VALLEY

We have limited information about a robbery arrest. According to a Sheriff’s report, Samuel Baker, 36, kicked in the front door of a home in the 7300 block of Village Way about 3:30 p.m. Thursday, threw food on the victim, and then fled in a truck. The victim told deputies that Baker, who is homeless, had been terrorizing him. Deputies located Baker in his truck at Church Street and Pueblo Trail in Yucca Valley. Samuel Baker was arrested for investigation of robbery and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with bail set at $200,000.
