TRAINING MISHAP ABOARD THE COMBAT CENTER

BREAKING NEWS FROM THE MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CENTER

Twenty-two Marines sustained injures today while conducting training aboard the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms.
Marines and sailors of 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, were participating in Integrated Training Exercise 2-15 when a fire extinguisher system located within their Assault Amphibious Vehicle inadvertently discharged. Those requiring medical treatment are receiving care at local medical facilities and are currently in stable condition.
