TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO AN ARREST FOR BURGLARY

A routine traffic stop ended up with the arrest of a Yucca Valley man for burglary. Deputies stopped a vehicle near Highway 62 and Sage Avenue in Yucca Valley just before 4 a.m. Sunday morning. Inside the car was Timothy Foster, 27, who had multiple drug warrants for his arrest. During a search of the vehicle, deputies located some collectible coins that had been reported stolen. Additional evidence linked Foster to the burglary, and Timothy Foster was arrested on suspicion of burglary. As he was booked into the West Valley Detention Center, deputies discovered illegal drugs on his person as well. His bail was set at $50,000.
