The 29 Palms Boys Soccer Team traveled to Temecula last weekend for its 3rd and 4th games of the Linfield Christian Tournament. Coach Niles says that the team played great defense in both games and is now ready for league play. The 3rd game held Friday (December 3), against Linfield Christian ended in a 2-0 loss, with goalie Alyx Hinton registering 20 saves on 22 shots on goal. The 4th game on Saturday (December 4) against Notre Dame Riverside ended in a 3-0 loss, with goalie Sebastian Pereira notching 12 saves on 15 shots on goal. League play opens this Wednesday (December 8) at 3:15 p.m. on the road against Coachella Valley.
