The Town of Yucca Valley is accepting applications for contract umpires for the 2013 Adult Slow Pitch Softball Leagues. Thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations, techniques and equipment of softball is required, knowledge of SCMAF regulations is highly desirable. Applicants must be age 18 and over and have the ability to work evenings and some weekends on an “as scheduled” basis beginning April 1. Umpires are paid $22 per game. Applications are available at the Yucca Valley Community Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m, Monday through Thursday.
