The Town of Yucca Valley has released its proposed two-year budget covering fiscal years 2014-15 and 2015-16. The Town will hold two workshops in which the public can ask questions Council Members and Town Staff about the budget. The first workshop is set for Saturday, May 10, at 9 a.m., and Tuesday, May 20, at 5 p.m. Both workshops will be held in the Yucca Room of the Community Center. Questions may be emailed ahead of time to [email protected], or dropped off at Town Hall during normal business hours prior to the workshops. A public hearing on the budget is set for 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, and the Council is expected to adopt the budget at its June 3 meeting. A copy of the draft budget can be seen at yucca-valley.org.
