The Town of Yucca Valley released copies of four maps on Friday showing the proposed voting districts that will be in effect for the November 2018 election. The maps released include three maps created by the town’s demographer, and one map submitted to the demographer by a member of the public. The maps can be viewed on the town’s website at yucca-valley.org; printed copies of the maps are also available at Town Hall. Demographic statistics are included for each map. The Yucca Valley Town Council will hold a special meeting in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center on Monday, March 26, at 3:30 p.m. at which it will take public comment on the maps.
