The Town of Yucca Valley has announced a Call for Artists to implement a three-day Pop-Up Art Installation decorating the Yucca Valley Community Center Courtyard during the 5th Annual Yucca Valley Film Festival, November 10 – 12, 2023. Individuals, or teams of artists, 7th grade and up from Yucca Valley and surrounding communities, are invited to share a detailed explanation of their artistic vision in decorating the courtyard throughout the Film Festival; hundreds of people from local families, filmmakers, and guests will pass through the courtyard, walk the red carpet, and participate in this three-day event.
The artist chosen for this installation will receive a $500 stipend and up to $1,500 in reimbursements for material expenses.
