Learn the time-tested art of the Samurai from Norman Rose, a black belt in Ketsugo Jujitsu. During this 2 1/2 hour class, you will learn a variety of self-defense techniques that can be used by anyone. There will be demonstrations, instructions, and a lecture. Participants should be at least 14 years old. The self-defense workshop will take place on Saturday, February 29 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Town of Yucca Valley Community Center. The cost is $15 per person, but is free to students with a valid school ID. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. Online registration is accepted at http://www.yucca-valley.org or in person at the Community Center from noon to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
