TOWN OF YUCCA VALLEY NAMES EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR

A Yucca Valley Town employee was given high honors as the town’s Employee of the Year. Managing Editor Tami Roleff has the kudos…….
Yucca Valley Animal Control Officer Kim Casey thought she was going to the Yucca Valley Town Council meeting Tuesday night to give input on the town’s budget. Instead, Town Manager Mark Nuaimi made a surprise announcement that she had been named employee of the year. “Kim has stepped up. She has handled the most difficult cases during a very challenging season. She does it with a smile, she’s professional, and I couldn’t think of a better employee to receive employee of the year.” Casey was modest she heard she won. “I don’t desert it anymore than anybody else. I’m honored, but I think every single employee of the Town of Yucca Valley deserves to be employee of the year.” Casey will be formally recognized at the Town Council meeting of June 18 and will be honored at a dinner sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce June 21.
