In March, the Yucca Valley Town Council approved the Yucca Together Economic Assistance Grant program, which would award $5,000 to local brick-and-mortar small businesses to help them through the stay-at-home order. Managing editor Tami Roleff has an update on the program…
The Town of Yucca Valley has awarded all the grants in the town’s economic assistance program. The program was established by the town council with $250,000 from Measure Y funds to help local businesses who have been significantly impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. The grants were awarded at a maximum of $5,000 per business and have been awarded to 50 local small businesses to fund working capital and help them through an established recovery plan.
