Tortoise Rock Casino will host a job fair today (Tuesday, May 18) as the facility looks to fill dozens of openings. The hiring event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Theater 29 at 73637 Sullivan Road, Twentynine Palms. The casino needs to fill an estimated 40 jobs in administration, food and beverage service, gaming, housekeeping, maintenance, security, slots and table games. “The pay is very competitive,” casino spokeswoman Kyle Radke said. “The bartenders have a guarantee of $25 an hour.” All positions include healthcare benefits that start within the first 30 days. That includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 401(k) program, paid time off, vacation time and opportunities for advancement. Qualified applicants are advised to “dress for success,” wear a facemask and bring copies of their resume.
