Tortoise Rock Casino is offering a free opportunity for you to learn how to become a table game dealer. The 10-week class begins in July and covers 16 hours of instruction; Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Students will learn about betting procedures, how to shuffle, game rules, casino etiquette, and more. After completing the course, students will have the opportunity to audition for a dealer position at Tortoise Rock. Applicants must have a high school diploma and pass a drug test and background investigation. Table game dealers begin at $9 per hour and keep their own tips.
