This Saturday April 30th is the start of National Adopt-A-Shelter-Pet Week, with reduced fees for pet adoptions from local shelters. These lowered adoption fees include spaying and neutering, initial vaccinations and microchip costs. Pet Place International is holding a Dog & Cat Adoption event on Saturday inside the Tractor Supply in Yucca Valley from 10 AM to 3 PM, and the Morongo Basin Humane Society has updated their website so you can easily fill out adoption forms online.
