TOMORROW IS CAESAR CHAVEZ DAY HOLIDAY IN CALIFORNIA

Friday, March 31, is Cesar Chavez Day, a legal holiday in California but not a federal holiday. Here’s a roundup of what’s open and what’s closed: Most state offices, including the Department of Motor Vehicles, and the county courthouse will be closed. The post office will be open, Morongo Unified schools will be open, as will Copper Mountain College. The Town of Yucca Valley and the City of Twentynine Palms will remain closed as usual on Friday.
