The five-member band, “You Got Lucky,” takes the outdoor stage at Tortoise Rock Casino at 8 p.m. for tonight’s special tribute to rock legend Tom Petty. Petty died Monday, less than a week after performing three sold-out shows marking the Heartbreaker’s 40th anniversary at the Hollywood Bowl. Tonight’s free concert promises to capture the most memorable sounds of those years with hit songs like “Don’t Do Me Like That,” “Free Fallin’,” “Listen To Her Heart,” “The Waiting,” “Learning to Fly” and “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around.” Tonight’s Live at the Rock tribute promises to be the closest any of us will ever get again to a live performance of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
