TODAY IS ELECTION DAY FOR FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL OFFICES AND PROPOSITIONS

Today is election day. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters can find their assigned polling location on the back cover of their Voter Information Guide, online at SBCountyElections.com, or by calling the Registrar of Voters at 800-881-VOTE. Mailed ballots must be postmarked by today and must be received no later than Friday in order to be counted. Alternatively, mail-in ballots may be dropped off at any polling location, or at the Yucca Valley Town Hall, Twentynine Palms City Hall, or Joshua Tree Library. If you missed the October 22 voter registration deadline, you can still vote by filling out a conditional voter registration application at the polling site and then voting with a provisional ballot. So get out and vote.
