“Toastmasters” meet Tuesday night (3/4) in Twentynine Palms

The Toastmasters have formed a new club in Twentynine Palms, and their meeting Tuesday night (March 4), and they want to help you become a better public speaker.

Toastmasters is a national club that uses education, practice, and mentor input for giving presentations, leading effective meetings, and improving networking through communication. Toastmasters is a non-profit organization that helps people improve their public speaking, communication, and leadership skills through structured practice and feedback. Their education programs include learning how to create a social media plan, create a professional podcast, how to present using zoom, and making compelling presentations in any setting.

Twentynine Palms City Councilman Octavious Scott has been working to form a Toastmasters club in the Morongo Basin. You can come to the group’s free demo meeting Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. at Patriotic Hall located at 5882 Luckie Ave in Twentynine Palms.
