The 2018 Time Lapse Film Festival, an event featuring the 30 best time-lapse films in the world, will be showing at the Joshua Tree Retreat Center Saturday. For the cost of a $15 ticket, you’ll see a juried show of the 30 best short time-lapse films in categories of humans and nature; living in the city; documentary/social commentary; and experimental. Following the films will be a panel discussion with the judges, who include Bobby Furst of Joshua Tree. The film fest starts at 8 p.m. For tickets, visit timelapsefilmfestival.com.
