The Rotary Club of Yucca Valley sponsors many youth-based programs each year, chief among them is the Boys and Girls Club of the High Desert. Reporter Mike Lipsitz tells us of a delicious way you can help the Rotary fund some those programs…
You take one star-filled sky, add dash of guitar, and a splash of cocktails … and what you get is the Yucca Valley Rotary Club’s BBQ Jubilee. What better way to fund local kid-based programs than with live music from the Whiskey Blues Band May 12 in Pioneertown from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $100 each or $175 per couple and include beer, wine, cocktails, dancing to live music, live and silent auctions … and did we mention barbeque?
