Will Fuentes was the cameraman for Huell Howser’s “California Gold” for more than 20 years and has written a book about his experiences, “Louie, Take a Look at This: My Time With Huell Howser.” On February 20, Fuentes will present a lecture at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum based on his experiences with Howser and “California Gold.” Howser, who owned a home in Twentynine Palms, traveled all over California for decades doing shows on places, people, and events. Even though Howser died a few years ago “California Gold” is still being played on PBS stations today. The lecture begins at noon is free for members, and $5 per person if you’re not a museum member.
