Throwback community soup dinner in Johnson Valley

The Johnson Valley Community Center is holding their monthly Saturday Dinner tonight (January 6), and they are calling it the Johnson Valley “Souper Supper.”

There will be a variety of soups for you to sample, in what the organizers have described as a “throwback” event to when the Community Center had no kitchen, and soup-based pot-luck measl were the norm. You’ll also get bread and dessert.

Come out to dine, meet neighbors, and gather with the community.

Whether or not you live in Johnson Valley, everyone is welcome at this event. Bring a bowl, spoon and $8 to enjoy the fun, or bring a soup to share and get in for $4.

The event begins at 6 p.m. at the Johnson Valley Community Center, located at 50567 Quailbush Rd, Johnson Valley
