Three Yucca Valley residents were arrested Wednesday for trespassing and bringing drugs into the jail. Just before 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sheriff’s deputies went to a home in the 7100 block of Tamarisk Avenue in Yucca Valley where three people—Brittany McFarland, 25, Nolan Jamieson, 28, and Tyler Albert, 26—were squatting without permission to be in the home. Deputies had previously warned the three of them that the home was uninhabitable due to a lack of electricity and running water. Brittany McFarland, Nolan Jamieson, and Tyler Albert were arrested for trespassing, and booked at the Morongo Basin Jail. During the booking process, Brittany McFarland was found to be in possession of heroin, and she was booked on an additional charge of bringing drugs into a jail facility, with her bail set at $25,000. Noland Jamieson and Tyler Albert were cited and released.
