THREE YUCCA VALLEY RESIDENTS ACCUSED OF GRAND THEFT

Three Yucca Valley residents were arrested early Monday morning, accused of attempted grand theft in Yucca Valley. According to a Sheriff’s report, a witness drove by a business on Old Woman Springs Road near Terra Vista Road about 4:15 a.m. and noticed some people trying to hide and act innocent near a business’s sign. The witness said it appeared the people were trying to steal the batteries and wiring from the sign. When deputies arrived, they found Leroy Plum, 53, Andrew Rounds, 24, and Teyana Poole, 23, at the location. After an investigation, Leroy Plum, Andrew Rounds, and Teyana Poole were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy and attempted grand theft, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with their bail set at $25,000 each.
