THREE YUCCA VALLEY BUSINESSES VANDALIZED

Three neighboring businesses were vandalized sometime over the weekend in Yucca Valley.

Shortly after 7:30 a.m. Monday, employees of medical offices and businesses in the 58300 and 58400 blocks of 29 Palms Highway began calling the Sheriff’s Department to report that unknown suspects had thrown rocks through their windows or glass door, breaking them. The callers said the vandalism occurred sometime between Friday evening and Monday morning. It did not appear as if the vandals actually entered the businesses.

And the Yucca Valley Senior Center also had three windows shot out by a BB gun over the weekend. Town employees estimate the cost to replace the windows at $2500.

Anyone with information on any of these cases should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
