THREE SUSPECTS SOUGHT IN YUCCA VALLEY HOME-INVASION ROBBERY

Sheriff’s deputies are searching for three people who forced their way into an elderly woman’s home and robbed her New Year’s Day. According to a Sheriff’s press release, the 71-year-old woman was confronted by two men and a woman outside her home in the 7500 block of Palm Avenue about 6 p.m. Friday. One suspect, described as Hispanic male, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a thin build and a beard, produced a handgun and forced the victim into her home. The suspects then bound her with tape over her eyes and around her hands. The three suspects then rummaged through her belongings and took her wallet and jewelry. After the robbers left, the woman was able to walk to a neighbor’s home for help. The other two suspects are described as white male, about 5 foot 10 inches tall, with a heavy build; and a white female, about 20 to 30 years old, blond hair, 5 feet 5 inches tall, and about 120 pounds.
