The National Weather Service has issued three winter storm warnings that could bring significant rain and snow in Southern California and San Bernardino County. Two storms will move through Southern California in quick succession Thursday evening into Saturday. A third storm will arrive on Sunday into Monday, possibly bringing strong wind gusts. Yucca Valley could receive another 1 ½ inches or more of rain from these three storms. Sand bags are available for residents at local fire stations. Residents are advised to take precautions and avoid unnecessary travel. Drivers are encouraged to slow down and to avoid major wash channels when flowing water is present. Remember to “Turn Around, Don’t Drown.”
