Three RV’s burn early Friday morning in Joshua Tree

Several RV’s burned in Joshua Tree early Friday morning (March 14), but the fire was extinguished with no injuries.

San Bernardino County Fire said that the responded to a report of a structure fire at 4:00 a.m. in the area of Sunny Vista and Summers Road in Joshua Tree. Crews said that arrived to find two RV’s that had already burned to the ground, with a third RV and debris including propane tanks still on fire. Crews made an aggressive attack on the fire to prevent it from spreading to other structures, and they were able to knock it down in 20 minutes. No injuries were reported.

The fire remains under investigation.
