THREE PEOPLE INJURED IN MULTI-VEHICLE CRASH IN JOSHUA TREE SATURDAY

At least three people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash late Saturday night. About 11:23 p.m., firefighters from Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley were called to the 62400 block of 29 Palms Highway in Joshua Tree where three vehicles had collided. County fire Battalion Chief Scott Tuttle said that the victims did not need extrication from their vehicles. They were transported by MBA to area hospitals. The highway was shut down for about 40 minutes while first responders were on the scene.
