Three Yucca Valley men were arrested Wednesday, and Sheriff’s deputies are searching for one more, following a burglary and drug lab investigation in Yucca Valley. According to Sheriff’s Sergeant Steve Wilson, a Sheriff’s task force served two search warrants at 9:42 a.m. at homes in the 5200 block of Warren Vista Avenue, and the 4900 block of Faith Lane in Yucca Valley. Deputies recovered stolen property at these locations, which led to the arrest on suspicion of residential burglary of Christopher Culver, 26, at the Warren Vista address, and Jarrod Kime, 39, at the Faith Lane address. Christopher Culver and Jarrod Kime were booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with their bail set at $75,000 each. At noon, a search warrant was served at a home in the 7700 block of Balsa Avenue in Yucca Valley. During the search, deputies discovered additional stolen property, and Tyler Ehara, 23, was arrested on suspicion of residential burglary. Tyler Ehara was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $75,000. In addition, deputies discovered a makeshift drug lab capable of producing “honey oil,” a concentrated form of marijuana. Evidence linked the drug lab to Benito Cardenas, 41, who was not there at the time of the search. Detectives are seeking an arrest warrant for Benito Cardenas; anyone with information on the location of Cardenas should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
