Effectively immediately, campsites at the popular Black Rock, Indian Cove, and Jumbo Rocks campgrounds in Joshua Tree National Park will be available by reservation only. Visitors will be able to make same-day reservations; however, they must be made prior to entering the park due to lack of cell phone and WI-FI coverage in the park. Reservations may also be made up to six months in advance. Cottonwood campground may be reserved a day in advance and may have walk-in sites available. Hidden Valley, Belle, Ryan, and White Tank campgrounds remain first-come, first-serve for now. Reservations may be made on recreation.gov.
