Three people were injured, two critically, in a crash in Morongo Valley late last night. Just before midnight, a car on Mountain View Trail pulled out onto westbound Highway 62 and into the path of a tow truck heading east on the highway. Two women in the car were critically injured; a man in the car received minor injuries. They were taken to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs. The tow truck driver was uninjured. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
