Three residents from Whitewater were arrested Wednesday, accused of burglary of one home and attempted burglary of another in Wonder Valley. According to Sheriff’s reports, a Deputy responded to the 7000 block of Nablee Road in Wonder Valley on Wednesday at about 5:30 p.m. for reports of an active burglary. Upon arrival, the Deputy found that an unidentified neighbor had blocked the suspect’s vehicle from leaving the location. The deputy detained the driver, Laura Walton, 52 of Whitewater and performed an inspection of the property. A second Deputy arrived on location soon after and was informed by the neighbor that two additional suspects were hiding in bushes just east of the location. The Deputy located and detained both Eric Walton, 55, of Whitewater and Erica Walton, 21, of Whitewater. The unidentified neighbor informed the Deputies that the front door of a nearby home in the 7000 block of Nordyke Road had been kicked in. Deputies investigated and were able to match shoe prints at the Nordyke Road location to the shoes worn by the suspects. All three suspects reportedly admitted to entering the Nordyke Road home without permission. Erica Walton, Laura Walton, and Eric Walton were all arrested for investigation of criminal conspiracy, burglary, and attempted burglary and booked into the West Valley detention Center. Erica Walton’s bail was set at $27,500; Laura Walton’s bail set at $37,500; and Eric Walton’s bail was set at $75,000.
