A Twentynine Palms woman was arrested Monday, accused of spouse abuse. According to a Sheriff’s report, Renee Cisneros, 49, was arguing with a man in the 6400 block of Athol Avenue in Twentynine Palms about 11:30 a.m. The man said during the argument, Cisneros hit him in the face with a cleaning brush, giving him a cut above the left eye. Renee Cisneros was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $50,000.
A 39-year-old woman was arrested Monday evening, accused of fighting with her husband. According to a Sheriff’s report, Deniece Barron was arguing with her husband when neighbors in the 72600 block of Granite Avenue called to report the fight about 6:45 p.m. The victim sustained several scratches to his right shoulder and back of his head, whereas Barron had no injuries. Deniece Barron was arrested for investigation of felony spouse abuse, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $50,000.
A 22-year-old Twentynine Palms Marine was arrested Monday, after he allegedly fought with his wife. According to a Sheriff’s report, Corporal
Christopher Martin’s military command, MWSS-374, reported to the Sheriff’s Department about 8:30 a.m. Monday morning that Martin and his wife had fought. A deputy responded to the 73900 block of Two Mile Road and interviewed the woman, who said Martin had slapped her in the back of the arm, and earlier in the month, she had suffered a laceration to her mouth when Martin punched her. Martin told the deputy he had grabbed his wife’s arm while they were arguing, and she had received the cut when he grabbed her phone while she was on the phone, and his pinky finger went in her mouth. Christopher Martin was arrested just before 1 p.m. for investigation of felony spouse abuse, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, and released on $50,000 bail.
