Three Twentynine Palms men were arrested early Sunday morning after they were found with drugs and a weapon. According to a Sheriff’s report, shortly after 1 a.m., a deputy suspected a drug deal between Brandon Coyer, 22, Christopher Blackler, 22, and Forrest Page, 26, in the 6000 block of Ocotillo Avenue in Twentynine Palms. All three have been convicted of various crimes, including burglary and drug charges during the past few years. During a search of the men and their car, the deputy said he found hashish and burglary tools on Page. Blackler, who is currently on parole for burglary and drug charges, was found with methamphetamine and a meth pipe. The report states Coyer was found with a meth pipe near him and a dagger wedged between the driver’s seat and the center consol. Brandon Coyer was arrested for investigation of carrying a concealed dagger. Forrest Page was arrested on suspicion of possession of hashish. Both men were booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with their bails set at $25,000. Christopher Blackler was arrested for investigation of possession of a controlled substance. He was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $25,000, but is being held without bail for violating his parole.
