Three people were arrested Monday evening for DUI during a maximum enforcement operation conducted by the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Department. According to a Sheriff’s press release, between 7 p.m. and 3 a.m. on Memorial Day, three people were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs; one was arrested on a warrant stemming from a prior DUI arrest, four drivers were arrested or cited for driving on a suspended license and four vehicles were towed. In addition, five drivers were cited for various traffic offenses.
