THREE ARRESTED FOR DRUGS AFTER A TWENTYNINE PALMS TRAFFIC STOP

Three transients were arrested Sunday morning after they were found with drugs in their vehicle. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy made a traffic stop of a vehicle at Encelia Avenue and Highway 62 about 4:30 a.m. During a search of the vehicle, the deputy found drug paraphernalia and individual baggies of heroin. Ruben Minero, 36, of Yucca Valley, was arrested on suspicion of possession of heroin for sales. Ruben Minero was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000. Sara Wagner, 20, of Twentynine Palms, had several outstanding drug-related warrants. Sara Wagner was arrested for her warrants and for possession of drug paraphernalia, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $75,000. Cory Risnes, 23, was arrested for possession of heroin after the deputy found the drug hidden in his sock. He was cited and released.
