Three 29 Palms businesses burgled over the weekend

Three Twentynine Palms businesses were victims of burglaries over the weekend.

Family Dollar, Motor City, and Theatre 29, all located within a few blocks of the intersection of Twentynine Palms Highway and Adobe road, were broken into with reports being made to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Morongo Basin Station on Friday (February 10) and Monday (February 14).

Family Dollar reported that the suspects used umbrellas to hide their faces from security cameras, and only one box of diapers was stolen costing less than $30.

Motor City reported that damages to an electrical box and miscellaneous objects stolen will cost approximately $6000.

Theatre 29 reported that one e-bike and merchandise and cash from the snack bar was taken.

Sheriff’s Deputies have not said that these burglaries are linked, but have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing.
