THREATS, ILLEGAL DRUGS, BRING ARRESTS TO TWO YUCCA VALLEY MEN

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Wednesday after he threatened to stab someone. Deputies were called to the 57700 block of El Dorado Drive in Yucca Valley about 7:30 p.m. because an unknown man, later identified as Garrett Pinheiro, 54, had come to his door, started yelling, and threatened to stab someone.  Arriving deputies searched Pinheiro and found a knife in his front pants pocket. Garrett Pinheiro was arrested for investigation of making criminal threats, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Tuesday, accused of dealing drugs. A Sheriff’s deputy stopped a vehicle about 8:45 p.m. Tuesday night near Paxton Road and Palo Alto Avenue in Yucca Valley for having an expired registration tag. During the stop, the deputy determined that the driver, Ryan Tucker, 39, showed impairment. A search of the vehicle found suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, as well as cash. Ryan Tucker was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine for sales, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $50,000.
