Thought Theatre announces auditions and a call for submissions for its 2021-2022 opening fall production entitled The DI(C)E Squad. The DI(C)E Squad patrols the planet searching out injustices by deconstructing generational oppression and promoting Diversity, Inclusion and Cultural Equity. The company is seeking performers (actors, musicians, dancers, storytellers, et al) who are willing to share stories of generational oppression and/or systematic racism. Members of the BIPOC community are strongly encouraged to join in this project. Performances will be in Joshua Tree and is part of the BIG READ Morongo Basin. This is a collaborative project where selected stories and performances will be woven into a theatrical presentation. If interested in performing, please submit a headshot and resume.
