Thought Theatre has cast its next production, “Particle of Dread (Oedipus Variations).” The play tells a story of knowing one’s origins and the repercussions of dabbling with fate. Here with the cast list is Rebecca Havely…
Miri Hunter will direct this Sam Shepard play, with an ensemble cast that includes Thought Theatre favorites Ann Van Haney and Doran Ray; Hi-Desert actors Kurt Schauppner, Lindsey Andersen and Kevin Hayles; as well as Low-Desert actors Katherine Wehler and Sue Neal. Performances are set with a 7 p.m. curtain for October 25 through 27 at the Elks Lodge in Twentynine Palms, with a final performance October 28 at the Wonder Valley Community Center. The 29 Palms Elks lodge is located at 6501 Barranca Street and the Community Center is at 80526 1/2 Amboy Road in Wonder Valley. Seasonal costumes are encouraged from audience members at all performances.
