In Yucca Valley, the Hi-Desert Water District meets at 4 p.m. while the Joshua Basin Water District, which serves greater Joshua Tree, meets at 5:30 p.m. Here’s reporter Mike Lipsitz with a roundup of expected highlights…
Hi-Desert Water District will confront an ambitious agenda today with a look at quarterly financial statements, and a review of the nearly one million dollars spent on pipeline materials. Those items and others will follow a closed session on anticipated litigation.
At Joshua Basin Water District, the board will look at the fund performance of the agency’s investments and consider discontinuing exemption of extra capacity charges for ratepayers with one-inch meters. The public is invited to observe or participate in both meetings by phone or on the Zoom platform.
