Third-Saturday Art Walk happening tonight in Yucca Valley

Hi-Desert Artists is hosting a community art celebration from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. This event will include food, music, and a pop-up art market highlighting local artists. Other participants include The Compound, Goat Mountain, Rainbow Stew, Joe Alvarez, and the Joshua Tree National Park Store.

The Hi-Desert Artists Gallery is also debuting the new show “One Nail at a Time” by John Henson. The show marks Henson’s first in two years; his intricate art consists of skillfully pounding nails into wood to create portraits, landscapes, and abstract scenes. The opening reception will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and the show will run until May 12.

Spring cleaning is in full effect; in efforts to promote sustainability and local connection, All Roads Studio is hosting a clothing swap today from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. 

This evening, Space Truckin’ Gallery is opening a show with new works by Leslie Brown, titled “Hangin’ with the Girls,” from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Other local galleries in the Yucca Valley include Mojave Light Studio, Desert Peach, Open Vault Studios, Star Tile, Remainders, Desert Curios, MazAmar Art Pottery, and more.
