THIRD ARREST IN YUCCA VALLEY ARMED ROBBERY

A third man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a Yucca Valley gas station last month. On April 20, two men entered the Flyers gas station at the corner of Highway 62 and Church Street and robbed the clerk of an undisclosed amount of cash at gunpoint. The two men, identified as Anthony Sibley, 26, and Michael Riddle, 19, were subsequently arrested on suspicion of armed robbery. During the investigation, deputies learned that there was a “get-away car,” and evidence led them to a third man, Andrew Garcia, 18, of Yucca Valley. On Tuesday, Deputy Shaunna Ables stopped Garcia’s vehicle for a traffic stop. Ables arrested Andrew Garcia for investigation of armed robbery and being an accessory to armed robbery, booked him at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $100,000.
