The Morongo Basin Active Transportation Plan team will host the third annual Park-2-Park Bike Ride on Saturday, April 28. Here’s reporter Andrew Dieleman with his safety gear on and bicycle ready…
The Park-2-Park bike ride represents a partnership effort among the City of Twentynine Palms, Joshua Tree National Park. and the Twentynine Palms Marine Corps Base. The event provides a scenic cycling route from Knott’s Sky Park in Twentynine Palms to Key’s View in Joshua Tree National Park and back. Experienced riders can cycle the entire 54-mile route. Alternatively, a family fun ride, with a shorter route for children and families, is also available. The event will take place on Saturday, April 28 from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. beginning at Knott’s Sky Park in Twentynine Palms. For more information, or to register for the event, visit http://29palms.org/
