The Morongo Basin will join communities across the country for National Night Out on Tuesday, August 7. This will be the third time communities in the Hi-Desert have participated in National Night Out, which is a community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. The hope is that the effort will make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. Bring the family to the Yucca Valley Walmart parking lot between 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. for free food, games and activities, giveaways, and information on crime prevention and safety.
