Students in the Morongo Basin are invited to apply for the Theresa A. Mike Scholarship, sponsored by the Twentynine Palms Band of Mission Indians. The scholarships, ranging from $500 to $5,000 can be used for tuition, fees, books, or living expenses at any accredited university, community college, or technical school. Among the requirements to receive a scholarship, applicants must have a 3.0 grade point average, and write a 1,000 word essay. The deadline to apply is May 31.
